This Easter weekend I spent time in Phoenix, AZ for the first time and it was amazing! I went for a little mini vaycay with my brothers girlfriend (hopefully my soon to be sis-in-law!) hoping we would make healthy decisions and be super active, we didn't do as well as I had hoped! I am not overly proud of the quality of these photos, but I still had to write a post about the trip (ignore my awful travel day hair)! I am absolutely obsessed with this OTS top from Kittsona. More than the top itself, I am obsessed with Kittsona, but I will talk more about that in a future post. Can you believe it was under $50?! And my white distressed skinny jeans were under $60! I was seriously so impressed.
We spent our first day in AZ in Old Town Scottsdale. There were countless fun boutiques (I got the cutest skirt and top you will for sure be seeing soon!) and bars and restaurants. Every single place had awesome happy hour deals and great choices, you can't go wrong with any of the places in Old Town. We knew we wanted to wake up and hike Saturday morning, so we went back to our hotel and hit the hot tub before an early-ish bed time!
We heard so many great things about Camelback Mountain so we decided to head there Saturday morning. Little did we know, we were in for a real wild ride. You needed both hands and feet to get through some of the rocky areas. We weren't sure if we would make it and I quickly realized I am much more out of shape than I thought! We did make it to the top and it was so worth it for the 360 degree views! Once we made it back down we realized there was a sign saying this hike was a double black diamond... The hardest rating of hiking trails. We just jumped in guns blazing!! I got crazy sunburns and real down and dirty, but I felt amazing! 10/10 would recommend this to everyone! Just make sure you pack A LOT of water, we ran out and it wasn't pretty!
I am so excited to be starting a blog (FINALLY) and I can't wait to learn and improve with every post!
Thanks for reading!
Until next time,
