For those of you who have been following along, I did it! I knocked an item off my CO Bucket List! (for those of you who are more recent to my following, I wrote a list of things I want to do while living here in Denver, CO ~ My CO Bucket List). Guess which one I checked off?!
YUP! I got to go to a concert at Red Rocks this past Saturday! It was such a crazy-cool experience for me that I would highly recommend you try to fit in to your bucket list! The views are amazing, the energy in the crowd is like no other, and the sound is incredible!
Red Rocks Rookie Tips:
1. Wear comfortable shoes- You pretty much have to hike to enjoy a show. You hike up to get in, you hike up or down to your seat, and up and down to use the rest room and refresh your drinks. You hike, then you stand, then you hike, you are going to want comfort over your fabulous new heals.
2. Wear/bring a jacket- It gets chilly the further into the mountains you go. Red Rocks would be considered part of the mountains, so it is already a bit chilly, but then add in the cool crisp evening and night time air. It get SO cold last night, I was so glad I wore my big Free People Bomber Jacket.
3. Have a buddy system- You can find your seat and your group relatively easy when the sun is still out, but once the sun goes down and the lights are off for the show, it is nearly impossible to go to the bathroom or refresh your drink and still find your group again. Stick with a buddy whenever someone leaves the group!
4. Arrive early enough to take in the view, but don't get there too early- You can get there super early and go inside to get good seats, but the truth is, there isn't a bad seat in the house! If you go in to early you will be stuck paying more for food and drinks all night than if you brought some sandwiches and drinks and took in the scenery before going in.

I am still in awe over how incredible it was to experience a concert at Red Rocks. I want to go back every weekend! (I wish that was possible!) I truly think that those of you who have a bucket list, put this on there! And those of you who think bucket lists are stupid, just make it a goal to get out to Red Rocks for a concert. It is so worth it!
Have a fabulous week!
